Bonjour! Welcome to French Joie!
My name is Bertille, I am 30 years old, I was born and raised in Lyon, France.
After spending many years in Georgia where I developed a love for southern hospitality and food and, I am now living in Jackson, Mississippi.
I wanted to start this blog/website to share with you all everything that brings me “joie” which means joy/happiness in english.
I believe that enjoying the little things in life is so important. It can be as simple as purchasing a new cute dress that makes you feel empowered and confident, enjoying un cafe au lait at an adorable coffee shop, buying wild flowers at the farmers market, spending a Sunday afternoon baking, seeing an Amazon package at your front door, or… jumping at the opportunity to buy a cheap ticket to fly to a new place!
Hope you like some of the blog posts that I write here and please feel free to comment to give me some feedback 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
